Math Circles for Students in Grade 4

• Assessment Test

  • At Math Circles, students are placed according to their level of mathematical knowledge - not their school grade.
  • Grade 4 students must pass the Math Circle Assessment Test (Gr 4) in order to join the Math Circles program.
    • This assessment test is available online and takes a maximum of 90 minutes.

• Curriculum

  • At Math Circles, the curriculum depends on the math level a student is placed in.
    • If a Grade 4 student pass the Math Circle Assessment Test (Gr 4), they are placed in Alpha level.

• Class Schedule

  • Check out Math Circles Class Dates and Class Times in order to plan your schedule.

• Registration

  • New students in Grade 4 should register under the "New Student" category.

Based on historical data, these are the the most likely levels for students to be placed depending on their grade school.
